Felted hot pads made from wool from Southern Sweden and the Island of Öland. The hot pads will prevent the casserole from going cold and from sliding around unlike a hot pad made of wood or metal.

The founder, Ann Linderhjelm, of Ullcentrum Öland could not stand seeing all the wool go to waste every year. She came up with creative ways to reuse it and we just fell in love with the hot pads.
Our Christmas blend is made with black tea, blackberry leaves, heather flowers, cinnamon, apple, and sliced almonds and a hint of citrus aroma.
Glögg is a Scandinavian classic Christmas drink similar to mulled wine or the German Gluhwein. This is a concentrate with no alcohol. Add wine and port according to the recipe on the bottle.
Make your own glögg by adding equal parts wine and port. We use 1 bottle of Pinot Noir and one bottle of Tawny port. Recipe on the bag. The spices are good for 2 bottles of wine and 2 bottles of port just let it sit for 24 hours.
Ingredients: raisins & almonds (separate bag) cinnamon, sevilla orange peel, cardamom, cloves.
Rice for making porridge or rice pudding. Rice cooked in milk with cinnamon stick makes a delicious breakfast. Leftover porridge can be mixed with whipped cream and chopped orange to make "Ris a la Malta", a popular dessert at our house for Christmas.
